He started first to learn classical guitar in 1980 with Ljuben Haralambiev in Varna, Bulgaria After that, he graduated in the National School of Arts “Dobry Christov” – Varna (Bulgaria) with profile classical guitar in the class of Ljuben Haralambiev in 1988.

Between 1995-1999 he was a student of "Hochschule fur Musik -Franz List" – Weimar (Germany) with profile classical guitar, and artistic profile in the classes of Prof. Jurgen Rost and Prof. Thomas-Muller Perring . After that he continue to study "Hochschule fur Musik - "Franz List" – Weimar (Germany) but this time with profile classical guitar and pedagogical profil? in the class prof. Monika Rost. After graduation he trained and made specialization in baroque and renaissance lute with Sigrun Richter in the Musikakademie – Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Among his training activities are masterclasses with Costas Cotsiolis, Thomas-Mueller Perring, John Duarte, George Vasilev, Hopkinson Smith and Sigrun Richter.
Nowadays he is a teacher of guitar and lute ( classical, lute,e-guitar, e-bass) in the music academy “Georg Philipp Telemann”- Magdeburg , Germany .

Venci Pavlov participated in many European musical competitions for guitar and chamber music.
